Mr. Om Pathak ( Chairman, The Gurukul Trust )

As a member of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Mr. Pathak served in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in INDIA. Prior to that he spent 6 years in the Indian Army; saw action in East Bengal, presently Bangladesh.

During his tenure with the IAS, he chaired various state ventures ranging from power distribution, dairies and milk products, urban housing, rural development, industrial development, social forestry, anti-poverty programs, rural education to electronics, hotels & hospitality.

His role was largely built around strategic planning and operations. He has passionately pursued his interests in school, technical and vocational education; promoting new school ventures and addressing schooling, employment & livelihood related issues. He continues to pursue education related issues and enterprises striving to bring about a paradigm shift in these areas. He is keen on building international collaborations to work towards these goals. He brings a wealth of understanding and experience in school & vocational education related matters including networking that is critical to the achievement of his goals.

Col B. S. Braria (Retd)

An alumni of National Defence Academy, Col Braria was commissioned in Indian Army in 1971. The Officer superannuated from active service in 2008. The Officer has been intimately and actively involved with school education, over past 12 years having been Vice-Chairman at Army Public School, Mathura from 2000 to 2002, later Vice-Chairman at Army Public School, Bhopal from 2002 to 2004.

While in uniform, Col Braria was handpicked as Director, Schools, at Army Welfare Education Society, (AWES) New Delhi in 2004, managing All India network of over 135 Army Public Schools. The Officer was appointed as Director, Faculty Development & Research Centre, a newly created organization in Army Welfare Education Society, New Delhi in 2009, where he conducted over 125 workshops attended by over 3500 teachers, principals ,counselors from Army Schools , Sainik Schools , Military Schools and CBSE schools in & around NCR.

Col Braria joined TeacherSITY as Director in July 2012. M. Sc. (Defense Studies) from Osmania University and Masters of Management Studies (MMS) from Madras University, Col Braria is currently pursing PhD in Educational Management from Mewar University.

Ms. Manju Sehgal

As Director and member of Educational Research, Design and Training team at TeacherSITY since 2008 she has conceptualized and designed Professional Development Programs for In Service teachers and has trained more than three thousand teachers.

Has served as Principal and teaching faculty with Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan since 1978. In the span of 36 years in education was deputed as Director and Resource person for coordinating and operationalizing training programs.

She has worked as a team leader and subject expert for CBSE and NIOS and has also conducted school inspections for CBSE and NIOS for grant of affiliation. Has organized and participated in Evaluation workshops with CBSE and Curriculum Design workshops with NCERT. She has attended item writing workshops for preparation of English test papers for Public Service Exams (Short Service Commission).

An M.A.in English from Delhi University and an M.Ed. from Mumbai University with University Merit Scholarship she has done a certificate course in teaching of English from CIEFL and a certificate course in Creative Writing from IGNOU. She has been awarded the Bharat Shiksha Ratan Award by Global Society for Health and Education for her contribution in the field of education.

Ms. Anshu Sahi, ERD Faculty

A Senior Faculty member of Educational Research design and Training team of Teacher SITY, has been working in Army Public School Dhaula Kuan New Delhi for Last 32 Years in various capacities finally superannuating as Principal of The School.

She is well known as an enthusiast who is skilled in communicating ideas with good interpersonal skills, self motivated and a good team contributor. She has experience with assisting school with School Development Action plan, School Leadership and Quality Learning ranging form whole school development to introducing Technology aided learning (TAL) across the curriculum for holistic development of children.

She has developed a School Integration program for integrating Value based Learning and Life skills improvement at all levels of school education. She has been examiner for both AISSC and ISC examination An M.Sc(botany) and M.Ed has also developed e learning material for JIL Technologies

Brig(Retd) S. K.Tripathi, Consultant

Brig.S.K.Tripathi has worked in the field of education since his retirement from the Army in 1993. Even during his service, he has experience with teaching as he was posted abroad in Nigeria to train their officers at the Nigerian Defence Academy. He has worked with students and teachers from many schools in and around Delhi as a career and behavioral counselor and a trainer. He worked with the Centre for Education Management and Development also on a school improvement program involving ten schools of Delhi, a program funded by the Aga Khan Foundation and the European Commission. He was also the Headmaster of a residential school which was affiliated to CICSE and the International Baccalaureate. He has undergone extensive training in human effectiveness with the Landmark Education Corporation over a period of 10 years. In addition to these, He has been a consultant with schools.

Brig.Tripathi has also worked extensively as a trainer and coach in human effectiveness with corporates like Hindustan Times, Agilent, HCL, Coca Cola, Hero Honda, BILT, Johnson and Mathey, Woodword Governor, GAP, AMC, PARSEC, Polaris, LG, Hughes Software and Orient Fashions.

His areas of specialization are Curriculum development, Behavioral and career counseling, Teachers training in teaching effectiveness, Student assessment in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains,Dimensions of Learning, Development of soft skills like leadership, creativity, communication skills, presentation skills, assertiveness and conflict management, thinking skills, responsibility and accountability and time and stress management. Prof. Avtar Singh, Former Head, DEME, NCERT, Consultant

Prof. Avtar Singh, former Head of the Department of Educational Measurement and Evaluation and Head of the Department of Educational Surveys and Data Processing, NCERT has a wide experience of teaching to undergraduates and postgraduates in Universities and Regional Institutes of Education of NCERT New Delhi. For more than three decades, he had extensively worked in the areas of examination reforms, curriculum development,developing evaluation material for the use of students, teachers andpaper setters of different states/ Boards of School Education, and training of teachers both in pedagogy and testing across the country. He had made significant contribution in improving the prestigious National Talent Search Scheme of NCERT initiated in 1963, National Achievement Surveys (NAS) program of school education under SSA, and National Curriculum Framework-2005 for school education.

Prof. Singh was the National Program Manager for PISA International Study piloted in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in 2010-11. He was visiting fellow at Institute of Education (IOE), University of London in 2007. He also visited ETS-Princeton, New Jersey USA, Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) Melbourne, University of Minnesota and number of other countries for sharing developments in education and use of modern techniques in testing. He has authored nine Volumes of 7th All India School Education Survey and seven reports of National Achievement Surveys conducted under SSA Project. He is also a member of number of committees of MHRD, CBSE, SCERTs, State Education Boards, NIT, Jalandhar, State SSA Authorities etc. He is also life member of Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Profile of Dr. V. S. Ravindran, Consultant

Dr. V. S. Ravindran is a renowned educational psychologist and trainer. He has been involved in the training of people in leadership positions in educational institutions, corporates and Government organizations for more than two decades. His major areas of expertise are leadership development, counsellor training and teacher education. Dr. Ravindran is instrumental in starting counselling and guidance programs in many reputed educational institutions in India and abroad. Presently he is the Director- General of ICTRC. At a time when the state was under severe disturbances, on the invitation of the Government, he visited various parts of the state to address and guide youth and strengthened the government in their fight against terrorism.
